How to make a Cosmopolitan

    Pour all the ingredients and a bit of crushed ice into a shaker.

    Shake it properly and pour into a glass. Bartenders tend to use the Martini kind of glass.

    Serve it with a slice of lemon or a lime on the edge of the glass. Add a miniature umbrella for the added feeling of exquisiteness!

Cosmopolitan is one of the most glamorous cocktails. The characters of Sex and the City love it, Madonna drinks it in public... By the way Madonna is considered to be the one who made it so popular - once upon a time, during a fancy New York party one of the barmen confused the ingredients when serving a drink for the famous singer.

A reporter came up to her to ask a few questions while Madonna was absorbed in enjoying her newly invented drink. These days, Cosmopolitan cocktail is something like a fashion accessory - a lot of people enjoy the feeling of holding a beautiful martini glass full of piquant sourish drink.
