Staten Island Ferry

An adaptation of the famous Piña Colada cocktail, which is actually easier to make since it doesn't require the addition of Coconut Cream. Coconut Cream can be often difficult to find in supermarkets and wholesalers, and is not frequently stocked in bars — especially those that do not cater towards the cocktail community. The nice thing about the Staten Island Ferry cocktail is that as long as you pour the two ingredients in even amounts, you can easily make enough for an ant or a whale. It is named after where it was created, in Staten Island, which is located in New York City, the United States. Staten Island is home to at least one Tiki bar, which is the reason for the cocktail's invention in such a place. The cocktail itself is commonly served in a highball glass for that authentic feel.
