Short Honeymoon

This cocktail is supposed to be a symbol of young love - so sweet and strong. The history of its name is not so romantic though - there hardly was a special barman that spent a wonderful honeymoon with his love and decided to call it this way - it's just the drink happens to contain honey syrup. It's a layered shot made with original ingredients. The cocktail is quite simple to make. It seems it may be an appropriate variant for a personal holiday of any couple, St. Valentine's Day or just a romantic evening. It's one of the drinks that most people like and would try again since its taste is universal: sweet and strong with a slight sourish flavour. Besides it gives you a warm feeling inside once you drank it. There's room for variation: cognac may be substituted with whiskey or vodka, lemon juice with lime or orange juice. Experiment and enjoy.
