Japanese Slipper

This is a very exquisite and refreshing beverage. It was created by Jean Paul de Bourguignon in 1984 in Melbourne, Australia. Nowadays Japanese Slipper is one of the most popular cocktails in Australia. As for the name, nobody knows what this elegant drink has to do with Japanese footwear. But somehow the sound of it pushes your imagination towards the thought of something refined, original, genlte and oriental. Or is it just me? This cocktail is quite unusual as it has a special melon taste. You can serve it either without any ice at all or adding lots of it. If you want to make it stronger (or it just so happened that you ran out of triple sec) you can add a bit of vodka instead, which will make it a much stronger drink though. Do not forget that it is essential that you measure the ingredients well for this beverage.
